Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid New Jersey
On -/-/15 I contacted Senex Services Corp via phone at : - and spoke with - regarding a debt that was paid and still being reported to the - main CRA 's as in Collections. Over the course of - separate phone calls with - I was informed that the debt would not be removed from my Credit Report unless an additional $100.00 was paid. I informed - that I have a letter dated -/-/15 documenting and confirming the account was satisfied and that my obligation to Senex was complete. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager I was told they were unavailable and I was asked if I was going to pay the $100.00 or not? When I refused, I requested documentation that I owe $100.00 or why I would need to pay this in order to have it removed from my credit report. I was informed that Senex does n't have the time to generate a letter and would only provide a receipt for the $100.00 payment in - days. When I kept disputing, - informed me that after speaking with Manager : - -, authorized her to accept $80.00 from me. I again asked for documentation, I was denied any such. I asked to speak with a Manager and I was told one would call me back but it might be a while. I informed - / Senex that I believe this is illegal under the FCRA / FCDP and that I need something in writing from Senex. They refused repeatedly unless this $ - $100.00 was paid. Attached is the letter from Senex documenting my debt / obligation of $300.00 is satisfied.
