Experian Credit card department,
Billing disputes North Carolina
I used - for years at $9.00 a month, with no problems until Experian.com, the credit reporting company, merged them into their systems and they converted my account into an Experian account. Right off the bat their were issues, I could not access my account the first two months. When I finally got access they billed me for approximately $70.00. I called them to resolve the charges and all was ok until the following day when I received a cancellation notice from Experian. I called to complain and they stated that it is standard practice to cancel an account when a refund is processed, even if it is their billing mistake. I was floored, so in essence according to Experian they have never generated an incorrect bill and if you do not pay you get the boot and must change services, as if there are many credit report monitoring services to choose from.
