Wells Fargo Student loan department,
Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Colorado
I made a small purchase through my - account, which was a gift I was sending to a friend. I checked send as gift '' and entered her name, address and phone number in the shipping details. I paid for the transaction using my credit union bank account. The very same day, my friend received a phone call from Wells Fargo Bank asking for me to make a payment on my student loan! How can it be legal for Wells Fargo to have access to the information I enter into my - account, especially when the transaction does n't even involve wells fargo bank? I had also made a payment within a few days before this incident
