My mortgage was bought out by M & T Bank - - - -, NY -. I pay my payment through bill pay and it is set up to be delivered to M & T Bank by a certain date. If it arrives -/-/- or after they will charge me a late fee according to their statement. They have gotten my payment before -/-/- and charged me a late fee on several occasions. I brought this to their attention and they have failed to refund the fees for all of the times they have charged me a late fee when it was n't late, according to their terms. It happens often that they charge the fee regardless. I usually pay my payment between -/-/- and -/-/- the first years they had the contract, but now since they have been charging me a late fee regardless, and I ca n't get them to stop, I just pay it reluctantly with the late fee as part of my monthly payment.
