JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Its a pretty simple issue. I have a credit card balance that I 'm trying to pay down, and my credit card company Chase offers - methods for setting up a recurring monthly payment. You can either auto pay the full amount, or you can auto pay the minimum amount. They offer no option to auto pay an amount above the minimum, but below the full amount, therefore making it harder for the average consumer to automate and pay off their debt at something other than the minimum amount due. Its obviously unethical on their part in an attempt to force people to just pay the minimum and incur the highest amount of interest possible. The ability to offer an option to create my own payment on a recurring basis that is above the minimum payment would obviously be in my benefit and not theirs, so they do n't offer it although its an incredibly simple enhancement to make to their site at Chase.com.
