GE Capital Retail Credit card department,
I have had an account with CareCredit prior to their changing to Synchrony from GEcapital. After - work a year ago, I have been paying double the minimumPayment required, regardless, once my balance fell below $150.00 on a promotional purchase '', I found that I was charged almost $600.00 in retroactive interest. I understand the concept which is why I paid $ - on a $120.00 min payment. I was told I was because I was not paying enough. I have no control over how the payments are posted. This is clearly a deceptive and misleading practice propagated by CareCredit!
