GE Capital Retail Credit card other fee July 11, 2015 - I have had an account with CareCredit prior to their changing to Synchrony from GEcapital. After - work a year ago, I have been paying double the minimumPayment required, regardless, once my balance fell below $150.00 on a promotional purchase '', I found that I was charged almost $600.00 in retroactive interest. I understand the concept which is why I paid $ - on a $120.00 min payment. I was told I was because I was not paying enough. I have no control over how the payments are posted. GE Capital Retail Credit card other fee June 10, 2015 - This is a complaint about BP Visa Credit Cards and the changeover from - to Synchrony. My last - credit card bill told me that autopay is on, that the full balance would be withdrawn on the due date. It was not. During the course of the last billing cycle, Synchrony took over and no payment was collected. Instead Synchrony charged a late payment fee of $25.00 and interest of $14.00. I made a phone payment got a confirmation number. Three days later I got a call from the bank about my payment. Called back was told payment was received. Happened again. My complaint is that I enrolled in paper less statements and there was insufficient notice that the deferred interest would be charged if account was not paid by -, 2014. However I could not access the account to obtain information as to the start date of the charge so I could be prepared to pay the balance. Since I am a busy working mother and Synchrony bank continued to ask me to move to to this method - I signed up for electronic payments. They automatically calculate your payment and it is drafted from your checking account. This process is easy and I have no complaints on that process.
