Homeowner has had a financial hardship and after exhausting all modification attempts they have come to accept the fact they can no longer retain the home. Therefore deciding to short sale the home vs. losing the home to foreclosure. A complete workout package including all financial documents and offer has been submitted to Chase on - - 2015. After several - of follow up and multiple escalations requesting the file to be assigned to a negotiator nothing had been done until - -, 2015. On - -, 2015 they homeowner was finally assigned to - -. The - lien is ready to fund with the rate expiring on - -, 2015. If the loan does not fund the buyer will walk away from the home. We will lose this buyer entirely. We have expressed the urgency several times to Chase verbally and escalated the file still nothing was done to expedite the process. Since extensive time has passed since submission of the short sale request and the file has yet to be approved or denied we are filing a formal complaint to escalate the file.
