My husband and I opened a savings account with Region 's Bank a few years ago and had my husband 's SSD directly deposited. The bank suggested with open a - - - account which we did, not the bank has put us on notice if we do not open a - our savings account will be converted to a regular savings account with numerous fees. I think the bank does not care about loyal customers.
