Original CFPB complaint - was filed against LexisNexis for refusing to freeze my consumer report. I am a victim of ID theft. I received correspondence from LexisNexis in the mail my file was frozen. It however appears LexisNexis used a variation of my last name an ID theft used to apply for credit cards in my name. How do I know this file frozen file is in fact my file?
