Over the last several months after seeing a new account listed on my credit file I contact Chase Bank only to be informed that I had opened a charge account in 2008. I notified their offices along with the credit bureaus only to be told the account in question was sold and they no longer have record. I then provided them with a copy of a law enforcement report and affidavit only be told that was not sufficient.
