Citibank Credit card department,
I 'm writing to report that the banks have n't changed - bit in the area of setting misleading / confusing terms and agreements to their customers. Recently, i availed of a balance transfer offer from Citibank - I have a Citibank - Card. Even though my card agreement and pricing information table indicate that balance transfer fees indicate that fees would be $5.00 or 3 %, i was charged. When i contacted the customer service rep, his answer is that the balance transfer check i used had the terms as 5 %. How many forms is a customer supposed to look over to execute a simple balance transfer transaction without getting screwed around for 67 % more fees than they expected to pay???
