JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account California
I applied for a Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Card a few months ago. I was approved and granted a $4000.00 credit limit. There was a yearly fee attached to this card. Supposedly the fee was due on - of 2015 but I kept getting an email saying the fee was due - -, 2015 of which I was going to pay. However, customer service is implying that I knew my yearly fee was due before - -, 2015. I kept getting an email saying - -, 2015 so I dont know what the problem is but I do n't appreciate being treated that way as if I am so type of liar and on top of that they Closed my credit card account for not paying the yearly fee. I think that is unfair and I was n't even given an opportunity to pay when I called in on - - or - -. But when I called in to make a payment I was told my account was closed the same day. I tried to make payment online but I could n't log in. I believe someone other than myself have created an account with my card information. My information was involved in a breach recently too so i do n't what the problem is. I just want to be heard, treated fairly, and have my card re-opened and of course pay the fee. I was not heard and I was mistreated by customer service. I feel like I was mistreated based off my nationality. Its not right and I pray to - that I get a fair fight.
