Wells Fargo Educational Financial Services ( Servicer ) misapplied payments for -/-/2015. I have - loans with the servicer and I make a single payment every month for the - loans. The -/-/- and -/-/- payments were not applied to the principle balance of - of the - loans as prescribed by the loan amortization schedule. Additionally, upon inquiring with a CSR at the servicer, they were not able to explain the action and attributed it a broader processing integrity issue with their servicing platform ; They were not able to assure me that previous payments were processed accurately and I am concerned. Additionally, I paid of the loan as of -/-/15 as a result of refinancing the loan with another lender. However, on -/-/15, the servicer drew a payment from my - - - checking account and applied the payment to the paid off loan. I am concerned that there are pervasive processing integrity issues with Wells Fargo 's student loan servicing platform and their ability to process payments completely and accurately. To aggravate the situation, Wells Fargo has a policy of terminating a borrowers access and deleting their on line profile upon loan pay off. As a result I am not able to access current and historic detailed payment information and statements, thus impeding my ability to at gather the information I need to determine if there are further inaccuracies with the way payments were applied. Finally, The servicer is dragging their feet with returning the over payment drawn from my bank account and applied to loan and now will not refund the payment timely.
