PayPal Credit card department,
In - I made a paypal transfer to a merchant, believing this was being correctly charged to my own account. I did not intentionally consent for PayPal Credit to take this charge. A couple of months later, I received a bill which is the - time I was made aware that this had been charged to PayPal Credit. This was the - bill I received and it included late charges. I called up and disputed this payment. I paid the full principle, but did not pay the late charge. Despite this, PayPal Credit continues to harrass me and add further late charges in violation of the court order on this matter - civil case in Maryland -. They also have taken to now calling my friends because I have blocked them. I believe their actions in not billing me properly ( waiting months to send a bill and _then_ adding late charges ), and continuing to add late charges despite my dispute is illegal. I paid everything I owed. The entire bill they claim I owe is due to their own illegal actions. I wish the company to acknowledge that I have paid in full, and cease harassing me. I encourage the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate as it appears that PayPal Credit is not adhering to the court order. I have attached a statement showing that they are continuing to add fees to a disputed transaction in -.
