JPMorgan Chase Mortgage department,
FHA mortgage Application, originator, mortgage broker New York
I applied for a conforming, 30 year fixed mortgage from Chase. I am a partner in a 400 person firm, have been employed without a break for over 30 years, have a hefty bank account, putting 66% down on the house, have - the loan amount still in the bank after close. - Chase tells me the debt service threshold is exceeded, then it's my company's acquisition that's the problem, then my - income, and after 60 days of going back and forth, asking me for the same info over and over, Chase changes the term of my loan, making up exceptions Based on the above, and making excuses on info they have for 60 days. I paid for and locked into a 3.75% rate, 0 points, and now after 60 days, they are trying to charge me - points for the same terms. They have left me with no alternative for other funding due to the contract date coming up. Someone in Private Banking at - says Chase is -, I'm a model borrower, tons of assets, excellent income, liquid assets, but now I feel I have no recourse.
