i have requested my credit report and there was a reported debt on there from EOS CCA which stated i owe them $4500.00 for an - Bill i then contacted - to inquire about the bill seeing as i had no knowledge of even having the service with them. I was first transferred to customer service which they have informed me they have nothing in their system of me ever having service with them which then i proceeded to be transferred to their collections department for further confirmation and again they also told me they have nothing even stating i was ever a customer through them. my question is what can i do about this to have them to remove the debt from my credit report this to me sounds illegal to try to collect a debt and report a debt that i do n't even owe.
