PayPal Credit card department,
Unsolicited issuance of credit card Connecticut
When I attempted to change the email address on my PayPal acct, the company apparently opened a separate PayPal Credit acct with my information and automatically applied my next charge to the new acct - so instead of my initial charge being paid off with the credit card on file, they charged me interest and late fees. When I contacted them to complain, they offered to close the acct if I made a payment of half what they claim I owed. I did this, and then several days later I received a new statement showing my payment and adding another late fee.
