In -/-/- I used my - credit card to pay for my severely - son 's - for $800.00. However when the provider ( - ) processed the payment, they did so using - different transactions and using a name I did n't recognize ( - ). The next month, not recognizing the vendor name or the amounts on my statement, I disputed them with -. On -/-/- the provider contacted me about the charges. Finally realizing my error, I called - back and they immediately re-ran the charges. Those charges showed up as having been charged to my credit card on -/-/-. On -/-/-, I received another call from the vendor demanding that I write a check for the missing money or my son would n't be able to finish the term ( even though my credit card statement clearly showed the charges and - verified them ). I wrote them the check which they cashed. - uses PayPal as their credit card processor and since -/-/- -, who has taken the lead on advocating a resolution with PayPal, has initiated - calls with me and PayPal. On each call we have been told that the money is at PayPal but has NOT been transferred to the vendor 's account. As of today, it still has not funded even though on the -/-/- call PayPal assured us that it would be funded by -/-/-. Because I paid for the - session - ( even though - has only received the money - ), I did n't have the money to pay for the summer session and - removed my son from the program. Because there are lots of other special needs children on the waiting list, - will NEVER get his place back at -. I believe that PayPal has been holding these funds, while I have been paying interest on them, since at least -/-/-. Unfortunately, I ca n't afford to float this kind of money and neither can -, which is a small volunteer-run non-profit organization.
