Improper use of my credit report Received marketing offer after opted out Ohio
On -/-/2015 a hard inquiry was made on my credit report by - - -. I went to the Car Dealership and spoke with a - - who admitted to pulling my credit report because he got my information from a third party source by the name of - - ''. Regardless of whether or not how he got my information, I never consented or agreed for this car dealership to pull my credit report. He stated that he receive leads from these companies and use the information to run credit in order to see if companies pre-qualify for auto loans. This company never informed me or received my consent to run my credit report, which was a hard inquiry that causes my score to decrease. I am trying to rebuild my credit and these reckless inquiries damages my credit more.
