Tired to cash a check at the local casino, - -, about - months ago. It was refused and they referred me to Telecheck. Called them and they said it was lack of information and history. They updated my file, and said any check would be accepted. Tried to cash a check last week at - - and it was again refused. They gave me the refusal code and I again called Telecheck. They have you listen to a recorded message about the refusal before you get to talk to customer service, which I did and then talked to - of their reps. He explained that the reason the check was refused was because there was no history of cashed checks with other Telecheck merchants. I live in - NV ( less than - people ). Do you think we have loads of merchants using Telecheck? Asked him if there was any negative information - NO '' was the reply. So my checks are getting refused for absolutely no reason except that Telecheck wo n't let the casino accept my check. This was made even worse since there were people around ( people I knew from church ) who saw that my check was refused. This was horribly embarrassing!! Telecheck has NO negative information BUT they are stopping me ability to cash a check at the local casino. I talked you - of YOUR reps on the phone and she instructed me to file the complaint on-line using the category credit reporting ''.
