Closing/Cancelling account District of Columbia
I opened a Target REDcard managed by TD Bank in -/-/-. This week ( the week of -/-/- ) they closed my account due to 18 months of inactivity. I called, and they refused to re-instate the account. However, I reviewed my Account Agreement, and there is no language regarding inactivity in the Agreement. TD Bank should be required to re-instate my account because of the language in the contract that they themselves wrote.
