GE Capital Retail Credit card department,
This is a complaint about BP Visa Credit Cards and the changeover from - to Synchrony. My last - credit card bill told me that autopay is on, that the full balance would be withdrawn on the due date. It was not. During the course of the last billing cycle, Synchrony took over and no payment was collected. Instead Synchrony charged a late payment fee of $25.00 and interest of $14.00. They have corrected the late payment fee, but not the interest, yet. I have contacted them. I am contacting you about this because it may have affected a number of customers and the banks should not be rewarded for incompetent handover by allowing them to even try to collect late payment or interest charges from those who had autopay set up with -.
