My husband and an - filed bankruptcy in -/-/-. We had a home equity line of credit with Bank of the West and the borrower was the -, my husband and me. Bank of the West was notified by the courts and our attorney. The billing continues to be sent in the name of the -, even after I sent them copies of the bankruptcy notice. I called the bank the end of -/-/- and they said they would change the name on the billing notice to my name since I did not file bankruptcy or not send notices to us at all. This process took about 4 years to complete. If a Chapter - bankruptcy was discharge and the debt was not reaffirmed, can they send notices? The - was no longer a viable company
