I was informed about this when I pulled my credit report. I contacted the company and was insured that if I would do the pay off it would be completely removed from my credit. So I paid the amount they asked for and it 's still on my report. It 's been over a year and when I call they hang up on me. I ca n't get no one to talk to me about this.. I 'm a single mom who 's trying to buy a home and I hurt myself trying to pay the complete amount to insure it would be removed from my credit report. Please someone help me with this.
