I have a few loans with Chase bank. I have been unemployed for nearly - months, and have been actively trying to find a job. Chase bank handed over their loan servicing to - - - ( - ). Last week, I spoke with a representative of -, and found out the what needed to be paid on the Chase loans, and I asked them when I would go into default. The - representative was unable to tell me when I would go into default. This Monday, I contacted - with money which I was able to scrounge up, and was shocked to find out that my loan had already gone into default. I was n't notified in any way that I was that close to default. It struck me as a complete surprise. I tried talking with - about my options, and they sent me to Chase which sent me back again to - - ultimately - huge circle of no one knowing anything. I want to know how to fix this and why was n't I better notified of my default. I 'm barely surviving as it is, suffering from diagnosed -, and I ca n't keep up with these loans in this horrible economy.
