Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Indiana
I attended the - in - - Indiana from -/-/- until -/-/-. I recently filed a complaint against - for false information that was given to me on my loan. Since then I was contacted by a woman who neglected to give me her last name from Chase. Her name is - and the number that she has given me is ( - ) - ext : -. While speaking to - a week ago today, I was informed that Chase would be honoring my prior request for a refund and I needed to send proof of payment to her email at --. I did this and was informed that she would be sending the - dollar refund to my account. A - later, there is still no refund. I have attempted to contact - - times in the past week to ask when this would be deposited, and her phone continues to ring with no answer. I have also sent - emails to the address above looking for information. I next contacted - who explained that they have heard nothing about a refund. I am completely fine with - servicing my loans, however how is the borrower supposed to find any information when the - companies do not work together to inform their customer? I wish to withhold all payments to - until i receive my refund, however I know that I will then just be in a delinquency situation which will be my fault in the end. Can anyone tell me what is going on?
