Closing/Cancelling account California
I have tried to make a charge on my card # -, but my charge was declined. on - -, 2015. I called customer service and was told that JP Morgan chas had unilaterally closed this account as well as my other chase credit card account # -. When I asked was JP Morgan chase closed my accounts. i did not get any answer from customer service representative - and his supervisor, except that theydecided to do close my accounts. - my account were in good standing, not in default. I have always made payments on time. However, Chase had consistently discriminated against me based on racial bias in the past, and I have several current complaints against Chase with Financial Consumer Protection Bureau, I insist that the closure of my accounts by chase was in retaliation for my complaints of racial discrimination against me by chase to the Consumer Finacial Protection Bureau. The closing of my accounts by chase is unlawful retaliation for my complaints to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and is a violation of federal fair credit act. ON top of that chase had closed my - account - year before its anniversary when they had to provide a free night state certificate for me -. by closing my account now, chase is trying to avoid the expense of providing me with the said certificate. these actions of chase are illega.
