On - -, 2015 I received a call from - - ) Bayview - - - ) stating that I owe on a payday loan and if I do not make restitution right then that I will have court papers served to me at my place of employment within - minutes. At that time, I did not understand the practices that Bayview - were illegal and against the Federal Trade Commission and made agreement to pay the loan. After further research, I found that their scare tactics and process of collecting the debt was known and the BBB has - complaints against them for the same exact reason. I called back and spoke to a - - and told them that I declined the agreement and stated to provide me with the case file number that was filed with the court systems. I was then told by - - that there was no a case number because no case has been filed. I asked then why then was I told that I would be served court papers at my office on if there was no case filed. - - stated that I was never told that and hung up on


stated that they are not a debt collection agency so they do not have to follow any laws pertaining to that. When I told - is was taping this conversation, she then hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another person who then threatened to call my Human Resources officer and let them listen to the recording of the call and told me he was going to contact the local law enforcement agency and have a police office waiting at my house to arrest me. I have this entire conversation recorded on my phone. ( - ) Bayview - refuses to provide any information as to what their business specifically does and provide an address for me to send a written cease and desist letter to stop the harassing phone calls to my cell phone and work place for me to communicate with them through written letters. I understand I owe on the loan but I refuse to be intimidated by scare tactics and illegal practices that this company does to get money.
