This complaint is in regards to the - -, 2015 phone call the credit collection agency Account Discovery Systems ( ADS ), -. - -, -, - - by the name of - ( - ) - made to an third party regarding my account they are collecting on. The original - is -, and original creditor account number being -. I made an agreement with ADS - - to make payment of $370.00 per month on this account. Since then, I have never been late or missed a payment. On - - - from ADS placed a call to a third party in an attempt to get ahold of me to offer a settlement agreement. I received a text message from the person he called explaining - from ( - ) - was looking for me. The voice mail message to the recipient identified my name. The number was viewed on caller ID by the recipient who went ahead and called the number to see who it was. The recipient was able to use caller ID to call the number ADS left on their caller ID identifying the call was from Account Discovery Systems and was an attempt to


me and it identified ADS was placing the call and it was for the collection of a debt. After the text, I called the number the recipient text and asked for - and inquired why he was calling a third party regarding my account. - said that he called the number he had on file for my daughter and the reason for the call was because they could n't get ahold of me to offer a settlement on the account. My complaint regarding what I just described is Account Discovery Systems had no known right under the law to investigate my personal information in an attempt to contact me just to ask me for a settlement on a debt I am already paying as agreed on. Further, Account Discovery Systems has a valid address and phone number for me on file and could have made the offer to me directly. I request the Consumer Financial Bureau to investigate and provide me with any remedies available under the law regarding any potential violations of the law regarding ADS 's unnecessary call to the third party only to offer me a settlement agreement on an account that is being paid on time and as agreed, which in turn is harassing me.
