On - -, 2015, I made a payment to a student loan with Wells Fargo - which stated that the payment would be applied to my - -, 2015 billing cycle. I later received another bill for - -, 2015. I had taken screenshots of each step along the payment process as evidence that misleading information was being published to the website, as a similar issue had arisen before. They refused to apply my payment to the - - payment date, requiring me to make a - payment on the loan or wait several weeks ( beyond the due date for the bill ) to have a refund sent by check of my - - payment.
