Charged fees or interest I didn't expect California

I currently have - $300.00 payday loans from - different storefronts in my neighborhood : PLS, - -, - - - and - -. I also borrowed an installment loan in the amount of $2600.00 from - - in -/-/-. I am drowning in debt and I ca n't handle it anymore. I need some relief. This is very stressful and expensive. I first started using payday loans about 6 or 7 years ago. My current situation of using multiple payday loans every two weeks started -/-/-. My roommate moved out and I had to figure out how to cover all of my housing expenses on my own. At this point, I 've been churning - payday loans every two weeks for over two years, and I 've paid an estimated $10000.00 in fees, at least. To make matters worse, I 've been paying $140.00 every two weeks on a - - installment loan, and I 've already paid $2200.00 between -/-/- and -/-/-. But my total balance as of - - is still $2600.00! How is this even possible? On top of my outstanding payday and installment loans, I have a car note from my credit union that I


out of all this expensive, cyclical debt. I do n't want to default on the loans, but at this point I 'm not seeing another alternative. I recently received - utility disconnection notices from my gas, water and light companies. To make matters worse, I 'm also facing being laid off from work in the next few months. I need help. I do not have the ability to repay all these loans. I recently found out that it 's against the law for lenders to extend multiple loans to a borrower with an outstanding loan. So legally I should n't have even been able to get - payday loans plus an installment loan at once. Can the CFPB help me in any way?
