PayPal Credit Card Complaint

PayPal Credit card department,

Advertising and marketing California

I wrote a letter in response and follow up to a phone call I had made to a representative of Pay Pal and was instructed to send Pay Pal a letter documenting a complaint that I felt borders predatory practices. On Monday the - day of -, I was asked by a property management company if I would sign up for a pay pal account to pay an invoice they had prepared for me. It did not appear to be that big of an inconvenience, and thought in doing so, I may use from time to time when vacationing via -, to pay for stays seeing it is widely used throughout -. After joining, I paid a small invoice and thought nothing more about until I received a letter dated -/-/2015, stating I had been denied credit. I know that I had not requested any credit cards with pay pal, or any other type of credit, I became alarmed that someone was using my information that I provided when joining pay pal and quickly called to cease any malicious action on my behalf that may be occurring. After speaking with

aware of! She told me that this is a common mistake and to write this letter. With that said, I feel that the way in which the credit is presented appears to be consistent with the remainder of a pay pal account, and most definitely not a third party/bank ( - - Bank ) soliciting and extending credit. I believe it is predatory in nature and a reputable company such as pay pal should remove immediately and or make VERY clear what the nature of the pop up window is. I kindly request that pay pal remove any and all request for credit off my credit report. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Sincerely, - '' Last - of SS : -DOB -/-/-
