I spoke with someone at - who said that they were the manager, but i 'm not sure he was rude and nasty. He told me that my lender was lying and it was illegal for them to remove the collection from my credit report and it would be a $10000.00 fine to do it. He also told me it could not be done because Fox did not own the account they were just contracted to collect. I asked it I could go back to the medical company and ask them and he informed me that - had the contract and I had to go through them. The entire time that I was on the phone he was screaming and yelling telling me that if I pay my bills this would not be a problem. He did not want to hear anything that I had to say. I tried to explain to him that I was a single dad and I lost my - year old son early last year and was - for nearly a year and medical bill were the least of my problems.some the insurance paid the other 's were my responsibility. During my grief and illness I was in no shape to do anything. I found the strength to get things back in order and called fox to pay the $200.00 and once paid asked if they could remove it from my credit report. That is all I want.
