Hello, I have an account in collections with Calvary Portfolio in NY for a previous account I had with - Bank which was a credit card used for - bills. We had a balance of $460.00 as of - 2014 with - Bank which was charged off to Calvary and they are now charging us $1000.00 and will not settle for less than that amount. I have contacted both - and Calvary attempting to settle for at least $500.00 or $600.00 but they will not work with me. This is the only collection agency that has not been willing to work with us. I do not think it is fair that the charge off was more than the owed amount. This is highway robbery, specially when this is for - bills and when we are looking to pay it off. Please help us as we have been dealing with this for over - months now. Thank You.
