I am a veteran - starting on -/-/-. In -/-/-, I terminated a lease early with - - under their military clause due to - to move. I did not receive any notice indicating I was owed money. - years later starting on -/-/-, I began receiving a call from -. I answered and spoke with someone who did not reveal their name on -/-/-. He claimed I owed utilities from when I terminated the lease through the original end of the lease. He was rude and aggressive claiming that they waited as long as they did due to the Sailor and Soldier Relief Act. I said there was nothing in my lease indicating I would be responsible for utilities AFTER I moved out. He refused to send me any documentation proving debt and demanded my personal information, like current address. I did not give him any personel information and hung up on him when he started threating lawsuits.
