Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Georgia

The Bank would not negotiate a lower payment or balance of the loan for pay off to help my Mother, a senior citizen who can no longer make her payments due to her financial status. She is willing for a reduction in payment and/or loan amount, but since My father 's death she does n't have the income to pay and keep the loan current. Her balance has continued to go higher rather than lower even though she has been making her payments since his death in 2006.
