I received a message from a family member that - associates were trying to get a hold of me. I called the company with the correct case # and the gentlemen ( who did not provide his name ) asked if I was me by name and I said yes. I asked for the company name and he provided then started to go into details of a debt that I am unsure of without letting me know it was a debt collection call. I asked for info to be mailed to me at my address on file. He started to get hostile and claimed I have already received notices and kept trying to verify personal information. I claimed I have not received any notices and he asked why have n't I been paying my bills then. I told him I do n't have an account from the company they claim is the original creditor and to send me proof by mail. He kept trying to get me to verify personal information and I told him I am not verifying any personal information on the phone and he hung up on me.
