Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Illinois
Chase Bank calls my business line almost every week ( sometimes more, sometimes less - twice in a day occasionally ) looking for a - -, or Accounts Payable, at - - - -. They simply have the wrong number. I tell them my own name and the company 's name and tell them it does not match who/where they are calling. They have repeatedly said they will remove my number from their list, yet they never fail to call again and ask for - -. I have even told them a quick - search will give them the contact information for the company & person they are looking for ; that I could even give it to them myself. They said they can not do that, say they will remove me, and call back again. Sometimes, they even acknowledge that there is indeed a do not call '' note in their system, but thought [ they ] would try anyway. I have also contacted them via - ( since obviously phone conversations were doing nothing ). They apologized and said the number has now been removed completely. Apparently, that was a lie, as I received another call one week later. This is harassment and is disrupting our place of business.
