Payday loan False statements or representation Indicated committed crime not paying Texas
I received a call on - -, 2015 at - from a Private number on my work cellphone. The caller stated he was a process server who was scedule to serve paper because someone is taking me to court for debit. He gave a the number to National Arbitration ( - ) to call before Monday -/-/15, the he would server my papers. I called the number and was told by the woman who anwsered the phone I took out a payday loan with - - - that I did n't pay back and - - - is now taking me to court to press Fraud and bad check charges. I told her I ca n't pay today so she sent me to er manager. He stated the same charges and that I would be served and taken to court if I did n't pay. I called - - - directly at - and was told my account was sent to - collection agency ( - ) but they are not pressing charges of any kind just seeking repayment. I called - whom said they sold the account to - - collections ( - ). - - confirmed they brought my account and had contracted National Arbitration to collect the debit, but again are not pressing any charges. So I called back national arbitration to let them know I confirmed the original creditor is not pressing charges and what the said is false and illegal. I was transferred to a supervisor named - how looked at the account note to see whom I 'd previously spoken with. He stated he had this same issue with the - reps whom gave false and illegal information before and they would be dealt with.
