Closing/Cancelling account Colorado
I have had a - credit card with Chase since 2008. I use it regularly and always pay the full monthly balance. They charged me my annual fee of $60.00 in -. I have already paid my - balance in full. Today my credit card was rejected. When I returned home and checked online, it said my account was closed. I called Chase and was told they can not give me a reason or tell me who or why it was closed. They said it is their prerogative. That the only way I can request information is writing and sending a written request to a Chase address they gave me in -. I am leaving town Wednesday and will need the credit card for travel expenses as well as have regular incoming bills that are automatically charged to Chase and a charge I have already given to my - to be charged to Chase. It is frustrating and inconvenient to be treated with little regard by the banking industry. Besides an explanation, I want my full $60.00 fee returned and do not want this to affect my credit rating.
