I Canceled my Credit Card or Merchant Services company and then got hit by predatory fees. I called to cancel was given instructions on returning the Credit Card terminal which I followed & from that point forward they began pulling money from my account through ACH charges. I attempted to handle it through my bank but because it 's a business account, I would have to catch the charges within 24 hours. Prestige & First Data know what banks can and can not do so they are VERY sly in changing dates, numbers, and descriptions so my bank can not just deny future charges because they will change an amount, description, or date just enough that a database can not see it. The Merchant agreement was sold as a FREE service with only standard % per transaction fees, $ per swipe, and NO monthly fees or charges for equipment. This is predatory and malicious behavior when I did my due diligence to cancel & follow all protocols as stated on the phone during cancellation. I also have my current company that offered them reimbursement for an CANCELLATION FEES '' but they claimed there were n't any. I am a sole proprietor and really need your help getting my money back and stopping this company from future business dealings with me or others who might fall for the same lies played on the sales calls.
