In -/-/2015, I applied for a Chase Slate Credit Card with a promotional offer that would help me improve my credit. The offer was a balance transfer offer. After applying i received a letter from chase that was dated -/-/2015. This letter stated that they had received my request for a balance transfer and would transfer the approved amount to the identified account. The account that was identified was the INCORRECT account.The letter advised me that if it was the wrong account or i wanted to cancel the balance transfer that i should notify them by calling - before -/-/2015. Upon noticing that they had identified the wrong account I immediately called and requested that they NOT transfer that money into that account and gave them the correct account. Without any regards to my request and complying with their letter, CHASE continued and transferred the monies into the account. I have notified Chase over - times over the phone and have spoken to Credit Customer Supervisors more than - times. I have been given the same story that it would take up to 30 days to process any resolution to this matter. It has been well over 30 days and


UPDATE '' or 'CANCEL '' the balance transfer has been ignored after we complied with there letter and have made repeated attempts to have them correct their mistake. Meanwhile chase has begun to receive payment on an balance transfer that was erroneously deposited into the wrong account and has done nothing to correct the issue. I have now inherited another payment to a - that i did not want the payment going to. The intended Chase offer was to transfer a card with a higher interest rate and a balance that would be covered by their card. Chase chose to pay into a account that would not be covered by the credit extended. Thus creating another debt / bill for us.
