PNC Bank N.A. Credit card apr or interest rate April 23, 2016 - Was offered a credit card from my current bank, PNC, -/-/-. The offer was 0 % interest until -/-/- and 0 % on balance transfers as well. Then an APR would apply after that date. I applied for the card and was approved ; talked to someone on the phone during this process and they confirmed the terms of the card. I transferred a rather large balance ( which I paid a fee for ), then used the card for some purchases. And now they are charging me interest on the those purchases!! I called PNC and they insist they did not send me an offer to what I described - which I know for a fact they ... |
PNC Bank N.A. Credit card apr or interest rate April 2, 2016 - I was given a credit card by PNC that allowed for zero interest during a several month promotional period. I called PNC to ask if I would be charged interest on the balance I accrued during these months, once the promotion expired. I was told that I would not pay any interest on this balance, and only pay interest on debt accrued after the promotional period had passed. I made this call around - 2015, and PNC admits that they have this recorded phone conversation, but continue to charge me interest on past purchases. I used the credit card for purchases in - and - -. I paid the entire balance of those purchases. I understand that my " grace period '' is waived on all new purchases for the credit card. I also understand that my minimum payments go directly toward the promotional balance. Any amounts paid above the minimum payment goes to the highest interest balance.
