First Niagara Bank Credit card identity theft / fraud / embezzlement March 1, 2016 - About 3 years ago, I started receiving credit card statements for a credit card from First Niagara Bank, -. To be clear, I have never opened an account with, or done business with First Niagara Bank. They took over the former - branches in our area. I used to have accounts with -, but closed all of them out before First Niagara took over. When I tried to call about this mysterious credit card in my name, I could n't get information because my credit card # on the account is all " - 's '' except the last - numbers ( - - - - ).
