The CMI Group, Inc. Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt December 29, 2015 - I had an account with -, -. I closed the account in -, and in - I received a debt collection notice from a third party. After contacting the collection agency to officially dispute the debt I contacted -. After speaking with multiple representatives I was informed that their policy on account closures is to -Obtain a new address -Inform the customer about the final bill -Ensure payment for the final bill amount. None of those steps were followed. We moved, set up USPS mail forwarding to our new address, and continued with life. - claims they have sent - bills to our old... |
