The debt was sold to a collection agency and they reported negative information to my credit profile. A male answered the phone, took my name and then said are you still receiving mail '' and disclosed my private address to a third party, then disclosed the details of when the loan was taken out. After contacting the same phone number and addressing my concern with the supervisor - '' she then attempted to deny the call ever happened with their office. This is a clear violation of my privacy rights, and because the call did occur - is violating the deceptive practice 's of the FDCPA.
