We applied, submitted all the required supportive information, specifically requesting a principal reduction, and were offered a false modification opportunity that did nothing to reduce the principal. I 'm losing over $2500.00 a year on interest paid on my Mortgage because I 'm on - and I do n't work and earn income to Claim or FILE TA-ES. Year after year after year, I 'm leaving precious money on the table. Hard Earned money by the way that my wife & I desperately need.
