Arvest Bank Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls December 17, 2015 - - - calls me daily to seek a debt I owed to a bank in the amount of $120.00 They call from a different number every few days, sometimes multiple times in a day. The person on the phone is always rude, last time I spoke to them was a few weeks ago ( now I just hang up ), on that occasion they threatened " further action '' if I did not pay the measly $120.00. They tried to get my bank account information, and promised that they would not extract the funds until - -, I did not give them my account info, as I had bills to pay and other debts to pay. At that time I requested a due date after the - because the majority of my income comes from - and I have a better sense of what I 'll have in income during the last - weeks of the month. Do I have accrued monthly late charges and unrelenting phone calls outside of normal business hours. The fact that they are aware of the entire situation leaves me perplexed.
