May 21, 2015 - I was sent a summons from the law office. I answered the summons -/-/2014 with the county clerks office in my area. the law office stated I never answered the summons and had a judgement won against me.I had the judgement appealed because I did answer the judgement. This debt is not a federally backed/guaranteed loan. It is being reported to the credit bureaus beyond 7 years. Also it is beyond NY statute of limitations ( 6 years ) to collect a debt.
